To correct:

I had to open up the form & content type manager. For each of my content types I had to open up each tab  (Admin Form | Site | Into | Content ) and the template tab, and select seb_one which was already selected, and then save on each tab.

At this point, though, I still have a problem with category views. On the front end I get this message:

Template Style does not exist. Open the Content Type & save it again. (Intro + Content views)

The site has nested categories and the menu item is a category blog view.

To correct "Template Style does not exist. Open the Content Type & save it again. (Intro + Content views)" I had to open the categories in the form & content type manager, and re-save the seb_one template for intro.

I was able to quickly guess at this by looking at the cck_core_types table in the joomla database using phpmyadmin. the values of these fields: template_admin template_site template_content template_intro
indicate the template in use. I've found that they sometimes have a value of 0. Othertimes they can point to a value that is no longer in use.

I've had no luck editing these values directly and it is probably not a good idea to do so, especially if you don't know what you are doing. Even if you do, write down notes so you can back out your changes, and be careful.

The problem appeared because I try to save a form that was locked (article checked out). The error appeared 3 times saying I did not had permission to change content, and it only saved some fields.

Once in a while i get this message. I don't have the exact answer to why this is happening...Others have suggested some things in this thread. I noticed that i also have it sometimes when i save and before it gets doen i click save and close because i actually wanted to click that one.. So i interrupted a process i guess...

THIS IS A VERY MAJOR BUG IN SEBLOD.

I do not recommend using Seblod professional until they fix this bug as well as the cropping height issue for lists.  

There has been so many people experiencing this BUG, I would think they would of put some time into fixing it. I use SEBLOD because it does have potential but these 2 bugs completely cripple the website.

this does not happen to end users, it only happens when site admin clicks between tabs too quickly, before previous changes saving was completed. It is resolved by going to template button and saving it (for each view)

Seblod 3.3.5
this error always occurs by doing the following steps:
Goto Module Manager: Modules
change Form - SEBLOD from Content Type (Form) = Article to User and publish
When you change it back to Article there is no Problem.

Maybe this notice helps to find a solution.

module only shows certain content type, in your case template is missing on user content type. To fix this see my previous post (you will need to go and edit user content type)

Why it may be because we click tabs to quickly, its obvious that's how majority of users use Seblod, Its only natural to feel safe enough to navigate though out the component when you think its loaded.

Then why not, grey out the tabs until its loaded? There is just no GOOD indication that its SAFE to edit/close/safe without fear of breaking the front end

I am very frustrated! I even can not build a simple list views with Content. After saving it always shows the same ERROR:

@seblod you undermine every admin whilst this issue exists - clients can deface their site with the "ooops" message and despite Klas's instructions above i can't remove the problem. It's a ux fail all round. Its caused by the massive field loading for configuration of seblod and the fact the user - in this case admin - can break the save process by navigating the interface. 

Whilst loading nothing appears to happen so is natural for the user (admin) to click on another tab. ricoos suggestion above of making the loading div red is really only a UX band aid as it doesn't deal with the loading issue which is really a deeper architectural issue. Drupal has the same issue with needing to configure php to load 3000 input fields. I don't know if Seblod can really do anything about this. 

On an admin basis i can plan a list search in 20 minutes but it can take 2-3 times as long to configure as you wait for screens to load before you can use them and check your setup. It makes me really frustrated using it, even less likely to recommend it. I often feel like i am criticising Seblod when it is in fact an amazing piece of work that enables incredible things. But i choose my words carefully above as i think these are genuine criticisms that need addressing. My worry is that they cant be addressed. But Kudos to the team - it is preferable to Drupal's admin any day.

I agree with alanski. 2 things need to happen.

1) Everything (including tabs) is grayed out until fully loaded.

2) nothing is written to the database until SAVE is clicked

Number 2 is referring to the fact that I can simply just open a content view and still break it causing the "oops" error without saving, making it very difficult to have confidence working with Seblod.  

This would be 1# CCK as it is loaded with amazing features. But honestly, this problem is causing many of us to seek alternatives.

It seems every list i create now suffers from this no matter what.
My current solution was to just take out the template msg block as the template is working fine.

Would there be any reason not to take this route?

If main content is working fine then problem is in either content type shown in module or in nested content type - e.g. in seblod field that displays another seblod form / list

I have the same problem sometimes.

If I make a copy of an existing seblod article and I open the copy in admin backend, Seblod can´t find the right template for the copied article. If I then delete the copi-article - and delete it completely from the trash – then Seblod can´t find the right template for the original article either.

If I save the article when it is opened with the wrong template in admin backend then it will get a wrong template for frontend views as well.

So I can´t copy or batch copy seblod articles. This must be a bug. I hope it can be fixed, because appart from that Seblod is wonderful.

I just tried these changes. I have a problem which must be part of the same problem. The code changes didn´t fix this:

I have exported my Seblod articles from a joomla 2.5 installation and imported them to a new joomla 3 installation, with the extension J2xml. But now all the articles have lost the connection to their content type. Do you know if I can somehow assign the articles to a certain content type again ? Or does this need to be fixed with some code changes ?

This is completely different problem. You need to use Seblod exporter and importer, not J2xml
