Hello,

I try to create a "seblod form" to search content in several fields ?

What can I do ? (or use) ?

By default, a "input field" can search in only one field.

Hi,

to search you need to create search&list type, not a form, which is part of content type.

For your question - you will need this plugin that allows searching trough mutiple fields

Hi Klas,

Yes, in Seblod componant, I create a Search & List Type.

And, I create a module, Seblod Search, and I select my list.

OK, so you confirm me, I need this plugin (http://www.seblod.com/products/918) to create a single search field that can search multiple fields in my list ?

Hi,

So I bought your plugin.
And great ! It's exactly what i need !

But...

1- I create a Search & List Type

2- I create a Seblod Search Module (that I assign to a specific page)

3- I create a Seblod List Module (that I assign to the same specific page)

When I do a search (in module), the result is perfect.
But, the URL change... so is not the page (no refresh)
So, it's missed all my other module assigned to this page.

Is it possible to link the search module with list module, and when I do a search, it's refresh the same page and actualize the list module ?

Or an other way ?

Hi,

you cannot refresh list module from search module. As modules get assigned to the Itemid in Joomla, which comes from Menu, you need to assign your list module and other modules you need to the menu that you selected in configuration of your search module (Menu Item Target), this way you will have  list module present on results page.

Hum ok...

I will try in other way.

I create a page : seblod list & search, where I select my List

This page show :
- the searchfield (it works perfectly)
- the list of all items

By default... is it possible to have NO item ?
I would like an empty page.
I would like items, only when I do a seach.

Do you have an idea how to do ?

When you create a menu, there is a setting "Search? (on 1st load)"
