Hi,
what is the best way to get an view like a category? For Example show a category description and image above the list/blog items. Should i use a module to display category description and so on or what is the most optimal way to handle this? Can i solve this only with using List & Search view?

Beside module you could also add some Freetext or Image fields to the search form.
