Hello,

I have 10 articles. I made a search & list for them. The 10 articles are in the list -> fine.

But I want 5 articles per page. So, I put pagination on 5 in seblod configuration : it doesn't work, the 10 articles are displayed.

So I put value 5 for pagination in the item menu which display the list : the 10 articles are displayed.

I try with putting value 5 in configuration of the search & list : the 10 articles are displayed.

Notice that buttons for pagination are displayed to, with 2 pages announced (fine 5X2=10) but the 10 articles are displayed in page 1 and in page 2 (I hope 5 per pages).

Have an idea ? I don't know what to do more...

Thanks.

Hi

Does the url have something like "start=6" when you click to the next page using the pagination button?

PS I am not helping you as do not know how to, just curious :)

Good question and the answer is yes :

for the second page articles-profession-auxiliaire-veterinaire.html?start=5

for the first one articles-profession-auxiliaire-veterinaire.html?limitstart=0

but always the 10 articles are displayed

Pagination is not set in template configuration, it is set in search type configuration (e.g. list tab + cofiguration tab), there you can select number of shown items. If you show your list in module  this setting will get overriden by the module setting.

Do you display your list in a module? If not try with standard Joomla template, some template frameworks override things they are not supposed to override. Also check if you have accidentally set pagination in menu setting if this is normal list (not module)

Hello,

It's working now. I think there was a conflict between menu parameters and list parameters. I just put "nombre de contenus" (number)  in menu at 0.
