cheers

Hi,

only seblod core extensions are currently handled by transifex. I'll ask if we can perhaps add a project for commercial extensions translations.

Ok, in case there is another way of translating messages? They have a JSTRING that can be mapped?

cheers

Hi,

select cascade itself is of course multilingual, what I meant is that there are no translation files on Transifex. You can easily copy English or French language fiels to your language, rename files to match your language code and translate. Then strings will  be translated to your language.

Hi, ok but how to translate the "select label" parameter? There is JTEXT var since it is an input parameter in the cascade field, I tried to put "J(SELECT_LABEL)" instead of the "Select an Option" to have a JTEXT var, but it seems not to work does not work... how to have that string multilingual?

Thanks

If you have multilanguage activated all labels should be translated.

I have multilanguage activated. I am referring specifically to "select label", that is an input string in the configuration form of the field: if I put something like J(SELECT_OPTION) instead of the string "select an option", I would expect to define a JTEXT var like COM_CCK_SELECT_OPTION that should be translated? it seems not...

Thanks

Did you enable JText in Seblod options (Languages tab)?

Confirmed the problem: when setting the "select label" to "J(SELECT_OPTION)", exactly "J(SELECT_OPTION)" is shown as it would be a normal string and not something to be mapped with JTEXT override.

Please answer question from my previous post:

Certainly, all the site is multilingual with wide use of JTEXT overrides :).

I tested this - it works, but it is implemented inconsistently with other seblod implementations - Seblod is not adding any prefix here like in other places.

You need to enter string like COM_CCK_SELECTLABEL as select label, then you can translate this string in override.

Ehm... no. The label with the inconsistent format works on the first field before any item is selected. When you select an item in the first field of the cascade, in the second field of the cascade the label displayed is without mapping - directly "COM_CCK_SELECTLABEL"...

Both bugs will be solved in plugin version 1.3.4 that is coming very soon. Strings will have COM_CCK_ prepended.
