Hi,

I created a frontend form on my multilingual website. I activated the "JText"-Option in Seblods Language Settings to be able to translate all labels, checkbox labels, etc.

But now all labels in the Joomla backend are replaced by translation strings, too. Me and all other authors are using "german" as backend language and the option "Yes, but english", does not help me.

Now I have to create translations for every single field label in the backend which is very anoying.

Is it possible to make seblod translate only frontend labels and values?

Thank you and best regards

Sven

Hi Sven,

add directly you Override translations for Administrator part, because from this form, you can also say for both side, so you just need to do this one time:

Hi Lionel,

thank you for your answer, but unfortunately it does not answer my question. I know how to add language overrides for front- and backend.

I was asking for a possibility to limit the multilanguage feature to the frontend or certain fields (like form selects), because I don't need my backend to be translated. 95% of my labels are not displayed in frontend.

I need the multilanguage feature mainly to translate form select options or checkbox labels.

If I enable the multilanguage option of seblod, I have to create "translations" for every single field label in my backend, because my labels are all displayed starting with "COM_CCK_". This is a lot of additional work, because I use many, many fields.

Best regards
