Hi

in a current professional environment we have a dev/test platform and a production server.

We update some seblod forms or list in the dev/test server and use the application folder download/upload feature to bring the modifications we made on the dev/test server to the production server.

however when we update an application folder on the production server we see that the new fields are correcty imported but are NOT always set in the admin/site/intro/content views.

What is the rule to follow in order to be sure we fully and automatically update all the views when we install an updated application folder please ?

thanks

Hi, app update does not cause userforms and lists to be overwritten. Only new fields are added to the field manager, new forms to the form manager, new lists to the list manager and new folders to the folder manager, new templates to the template manager.

Yes, this is what I read on https://www.seblod.com/resources/manuals/building-my-first-app/updating-your-app but this is a pitty we can't really update the whole application folder if we need to.

it would be great to have this optional feature (yes/no) in many cases.

thanks

Hi, I agree with you, you can submit a request on github to add this functionality.
