Hi,

The Tags syntax & methods changed several times during the beta cycle of Joomla 3.1 that's why.. it doesn't work anymore with 3.0.4

Of course, a new package is coming.. And like always it will integrate seemly with Joomla.

and... It may come today!

Hello,

Thanks for the new package 3.1.0. But I still have some issues.

In backend : Ajax don't work, i tried with Chrome and Firefox and the tags appears only with the tree mode.

In frontend : In the articles, there is a problem to display the tags, or I did not understand something, i get the word "array" in place of the tag.

Is I made a mistake, or is it an anomaly?

Hi Thierry,

SEBLOD 3.1.1 allows you to display the list of tags as the value of the field. (native layout)

About Ajax, we haven't seen any issue so far..

To be more clear, here's what I did:

In backend, in the "site" tab, I added the field "Tags" and with the button 2 i wanted to select a dynamic value for the tag.

With Ajax method, nothing appears but with Tree method the list appears.

In frontend, in the "content" tab, i added the field "Tags" in topbody with a typo html for appearance : <span class='readon'>*value*</span>.

Result: the tag does not appear, but the word "array" in place in topbody.

I was made a procedural error?

Thanks.

Hi Thierry,

i guess we don`t need to add the Tag-Field into the content view. I am not sure where the corresponding settings are, but it is possible to display the tags within the article details page like you display the author, publish date, hits, category etc. On default the tags appears at the top of the article. But you can easily override this for example to show your tags at the bottom of an article :)

kind regards

Hi,

If I did this is because the tag does not appear in the article, as in Joomla.

Did you create a custom Tag-Field or did you use the existing one from the article content type ("Article Tags")? I think i had the same issue when i created my own tag-field.

UPDATE:

With storage: JSON | Article | metadata[tags] it works fine when you create you own tag-field and add the field to your content view :)

Yes ! Thank's, it's work in frontend without typo html for appearance with your method.

But always the same issue in backend for a dynamic value in form with ajax method, ok in tree view.

Have you tried the ajax method with a Joomla Standard Article?

Yes, it's work in a Joomla standard article, existing tags appear when I type the first few characters.

My problem is only for select the dynamic value in building form. Not important because it works with tree mode.

Thanks.
