Nothing quick and easy that I know of.

A slideshow would still require custom templating with position overrides and variations.

Hi,

Yes, we will publish soon some slideshow templates in the market such as here http://www.ecologic-france.com/ or here http://www.alain-milliat.com/

Hello,

That's great.

Could we have an idea about the price (range) or/and the presentation ? (Perhaps 2 options: one simple, few options and free, the second more powerful, lots of options and with a classical cost)

Thanks for the answer ;)

It's been almost a year since this topic started. Any chance of those slideshows coming onto the market anytime soon?

I'm slowly going nuts trying to get the urls to work in my self-constructed slideshow... :-)

Hi Michael

I implemented easly a slide show using  Flexslider Jquery plug-in (http://flexslider.woothemes.com/) and some seblod fields.

1) I create a seblod form with a field-x linked to a image upload field (so that users can upload more than one image)

2) in "Content" tab of my seblod form I add the field-x and in the Hidden position the javascript to initialize the slide show

3) than i make only a little edit in the plug-in file of the field-x (but i'm sure there is a better way); the file to edit is this:

plugins/cck_field/field_x/field-x.php

at line 207 you change: <ul class="cck-fl"> with: <ul class="cck-fl slides">

4) of course you have to add in you template the flexislider script and css

I hope this will be helpfull

Hi Fabrizio

Thanks for your links. Sorry, I should have been more specific. The slideshow alone is not the problem.
I'm biting my nails trying to get the slideshow images automatically linked to the respective articles :-)
(Something the examples posted by Octoopoos obviously can do)

Hi Michael_S,

you can add a link to your images in the List&Search type in the tab Item or List where you have your image field. Also in Content types in the tab Intro. Depending on your setup.

There is a blue button "2", Link & Typography. In the dropdown  next to  your image field select "View".

This should render your images with a link to the article.

Why do you need to add the class slides?

Can't you just initialise with

$('.cck-fl').flexslider();<br>

?

Hi Cleber

Slick Carousel does exactly what you are asking for.

I have created a template which uses this:

Github Repository

Youtube Tutorials

slick-carousel-template-for-seblod Seblod Tutorial

Live site example Live Example

The setting you are looking for is 'asNavFor'.

One slideshow has class 'slideshow-1' and the other has class 'slideshow-2'.
In setttings for slideshow-1, asNavFor: slideshow-2.
In setttings for slideshow-2, asNavFor: slideshow-1.   <br>

Hi

I have done this one:

jb_slicked_minima

also on Github but not done much in the way of docs.

You can use this for forms and content views etc... ie non-lists.

I use this for the contact form on fretroom.com.au

It would be cool if you have time to try it. Either way, I hope you find your solution.

Hi

Thanks for wanting to check it out.

I took it down because there are plans to put it on the store.

That said, contact me via my site referenced on my Seblod profile and I can send you it while still free :)

ps

The form on the home page is slicked minima, and the slideshow on other pages is slicked list

Hi Bucklash,

It is not possible to send the e-mail from your site. I've tried twice and received each time the following error message on a blank screen:

"The most recent request was denied because it contained an invalid security token. Please refresh the page and try again."

Hi

Hot diggidy: there was a field in my form that definitely should not have been there.

No idea how long that has been the case No idea when that happened. Thanks for highlighting that :)
