Hi Viktor
Yes we did it with the SEARCH GENERIC field.
The real remaining issue is to get a correct link to the content. Seblod can make a real global search in your site with all the filters you need but what about the sef links on the results ?
You just can't use the standard see link plugin since you have to manually specify the menu item for the results.
So we created two other link plugins: automatic link plugin and cck menu link plugin
Please check the details at
http://www.pulsar-informatique.com/Link-plugins/Voir-categorie.html
We are merging both plugins into a new one that will
- automatically finds the menu item that is directly pointing to the article
- automatically finds the menu item that is pointing to the category of the article catégory
- automatically sets the right menu item given the content type of the article
But we are designing a new plugin based on the assumption that a given content only exists in a single location in the site (much better for Google). Given this principle, a single itemID has to be attached to each content even if it is NOT a direct link to the content (for example a seblod list).
