Hi,

I'm getting a blank page when trying to create a new article with Seblod
I searched the forum and tried everything (clearing browser-reinstalling S3.2.1 - reinstalling JCE editor) but nothing helps.

1) I switched off JCK everywhere: in Modules admin and site, in Plugins and in Extention Manager admin and site
2) I put JCE as default editor in Global configuration
2) Now I keep on getting a blank page when I choose to create a new Seblod-article. Yet JCE shows up when I choose to open another content type with a WYSIWYG field in it. On the other hand I have no problem creating a new Joomla article either.

Am I overlooking something?

I would try to delete a seb_one - content_type (site) template and recreate it by just opening and saving content type in Site Form layout. If that does not work, try to check the site template output compression (turn to None for debugging) and site cache and gzip (in Global Configuration).
Also, you could try to display that page with default Joomla template to see how it behaves.

Hi Webcastor,

My problem is on the admin side. I get a blank page when I try to create a new Seblod article.

Hello Webcastor,

As I was clearing up conflicts in the database, I finally found the root of the problem. I did a search for %jck% in the whole Mysql database and I found (amongst many others):
2 matches inside the table #__cck_core_fields :

There in Article Introtext and in Article Fulltext the column OPIONS2 was set to: {"editor":"Jckeditor","width":"100%","height":"280","import":"1"}
I changed "Jckeditor" to "jce" and plop ... now I can open a new article with Seblod without getting a blank screen!

So if this helps anyone, don't look further than that place in Mysql in a first instance!

Message to 'Seblod core developers': It seems that when we eliminate the JoomlaCK editor to replace it by for example JCE and make the changes in the global settings of Joomla, Seblod does not follow the new settings in the core. Eventhough the whole site switches to JCE (including content types) - new Seblod-articles don't. Hence a blank screen ...

Kind regards,
Bernard
