Hello,

This is one of my common problem. "Warning Message" ! At this moment i know that seblod use native joomla warning scheme, but sometime there's a time when its not appropriate using default warning message box.

Anyone had a trick on how to make define where we can custom the location of  warning message box ?

Thanks

Hi,

I think you need to override templates/system/error.php in your template to get a different look for errors/messages

Is not about the design, instead the location of warning message.

In our template, we usually have 2 tags, right.. they are:

<jdoc:include type="message" />

<jdoc:include type="component" />

This make the warning message always above the main content. I'm thinking to be able to have this warning message, inside the component

One of 'ugly' scenario is just like this:

i have a component, and 2 module (seblod search-list)

now when the page load.. the the component and 2 module are return no item found

What happen is... all 3 message is displayed in a single container(div).. it looks really not good.

Thanks for the reference !!

but i think its still related about the design on how the message will be appear. Not to make it filtered per modul/component and its position

Viktor,

In your list or item view go to "configuration" and scroll to the bottom.

You can change the message style to "page" which I think is what you want.
