You can use joomla+seblod as the data source.. you should output data in JSON format, this is one of the way to achieve it :

So your mobile team should focus on "the presentation" while all operation done by joomla+seblod

That is the way to go - but I think webchun was suggesting usage of Seblod for actual creation of mobile apps - which is not what Seblod is made for.

No I'm wishing for a possibility for using seblod as a backend. So Viktor's reply is ok for me. 

Anyway, if native app is too far away to reach out, hybrid app (using ionic/cordova maybe) would be awesome too
