I need to migrate a site with Joomla 1.5.23 and Seblot 1.8.2 to a current version, preferably Joomla 3.1.1 and Seblot 3.1. Is there any advice on how this migration could be approached. What I've tried:

1.8.2 package export: This seems to pack up all the customised files, do I simply place them into the new site? How do I create the entries in jos_cck_core_templates? I could simply create the entries in the database manually?

Filling the jos_cck_objects table seems much harder - there are all sorts of tabls for menus, items etc in 1.8.2, have these all been merged?

I also have a Joomla 2.5 installation and seblod 2.3.6 available, but I can't see any migration method there either.

Can anybody advise any migration method between parts of these component versions? I'm a programmer and am happy to do a lot of legwork, instead of reentering everything again.
