List & Search for an external table

Hello,


If I create a table in the DB "newtable", I create a form with storage parameters:
Standard -> Free -> newtable-> newparametr
The form does not work.
If I create a list of research on the new table, even if the table is full, can not find any element.
Can you help me?

Hi

We have the same issue. A customer wants us to perform a search on an external database. There is no Webservices API.

we only have the remote database connection information.


1- how can we, in seblod, make a mysql connection to a remote database ?

2- how can we then perform a custom SQL search on this remote database and put the results in some seblod fields ?

Be sure to add a column called "id" as a primary key with auto_increment on your table.

If I create a list of research on the new table, even if the table is full, can not find any element.
Have you selected the suitable Object (storage location) on your search type? ... inside the sliding panel.

I don't think he was talking about an external database, but only.. a custom table.

- our next major release: SEBLOD 3.2.0
- our upcoming Search Query plug-in.
(coming in July)

Thanks for the update. What is the confirmation level of the 3.2 version delivery in july ?

We have a customer who pressures us for this feature and I need to confirm a delivery date. This is a very important feature.

- our upcoming Search Query plug-in.
(coming in July)
