In case anyone updated Joomla before updating SEBLOD like I did and got this error

Fatal error: Call to undefined method JAdminCssMenu::addChild() in /home/keizers/public_html/keizerssales/administrator/modules/mod_cck_menu/tmpl/default_enabled.php on line 16

The simple fix is to open FTP go to administrator/modules and rename the folder mod_cck_menu to anything else (ie mod_cck_menuold) then go to the "Extensions: Update".You can use this direct link (append it to the end of youdomainname.com/administrator/) index.php?option=com_installer&view=update. Finally update SEBLOD package. After you will see in FTP mod_cck_menu again (working one) and simply delete the one you renamed.

I hope this helps. :)

Alternative way to fix this is described at the blog https://www.seblod.com/community/blog/new-release-seblod-3-13

Dear All, I still have the problem; neither the renaming nor the disabling via MySQL or changing at mod_cck_menu.php helped. I can´t reach my backend-login. Any other ideas? Thanks a lot, best c

no - just a blank site, even with the error report enabled

You should look at error log or talk to your hoster to give it to you, without an error we can't help you. Also please don't hijack posts that are already resolved.

Good evening, I currently have a version of joomla 3.6.5 to update 3.9.2, installed with a version of sebod 3.6.2 to be updated, after doing everything as your directions the administration page goes to block or always returns the error: 42S22 SQLSTATE [42S22]: Column not found: 1054 Unknown column 'options' in 'field list' These are days that I'm going crazy on this subject, kindly give me a precise guide to how to continue with the update and the various steps to be taken. Thank you

Obviously update did not perform correctly, usually what helps is

a:) try updating again, just install the same version once more

b) updating in multiple steps, so that you first update to e.g. 3.7, than 3.8 etc. Also update Joomla in multiple steps as Seblod versions go in parallel to Joomla.

Always make a backup before upgrading.
