Hi all,

I must recall a problem raised from StreetDog on the "old" forum:

http://www.seblod.com/v2/forum/105-General-Discussions/36712-Wysiwyg-in-Search-Description.html

Briefly the problem: creating a joomla menu item as a Seblod List & Search item, it is possible to edit (and customize) the description for the selected Search Type (for example menu item->Basic Options (CCK)->Show Description->Above->Edit), but once edited and saved all the formatting code for the "new" description is stripped. The result is that the edited description text is unformatted (ex. no bold, no italic, no newlines).

On the other hand, using the "original" description (the one that is defined in the List & Search Type) all the formatting code is preserved.

Any idea/solution to solve the problem and preserve the formatting code also for the "local" version into a specific joomla menu item?

Thank you very much

By default, you can't add html tag in any param using default com_menu, so this is not a bug on SEBLOD because, for security purpose, joomla will filter any 'suspicious' value including html tags

but this is open source where you can track what happen inside the apps... if you looking for paid support to solve this problem by doing some modification or create plugin to solve this.. i'll be happy to be in the front line of queue.
