Hi cubist,

Have a look at the Exporter demo.  You can export a Search & List Type to a csv file - which can then be opened using Excel.

Is that what you are looking for?

thanks,

Randy

Thx, that's what i am looking for alright.

Ok, I bought this awhile ago, but don't know how to use it in the front-end.

I was assuming I could add a field type, but it's not in the list.

How do I add it per your demo link?

Hi cubist,

Step 1.Create a session based on an List & Search Type.To do this,: Components>SEBLOD 3.x>Exporter

Define the Export you want then next to the Export to CSV File Click the Star (remember this session)and Remember the number.

Step 2. Set up the Button.

In your Search Type, add a Submit Button to your Search Form:

Task: Export

Session: Select your saved session.

Hope that helps,

Randy

I downloaded the current Seblod Exporter file and installed, com_cck_exporter_1.2.2.zip

Regarding .... Step 1.Create a session based on an List & Search Type

This is NOT offered, you can only create a session based on a Content Type (but not Search type) ... or am I missing something?

Ah ... I see it does abide by the search form though! Thx

Hi Cubist,

Yep!  Sorry.  I should have said Content type:

Step 1.Create a session based on a Content Type.To do this,: Components>SEBLOD 3.x>Exporter

Then Step 2 references that content type in the Search Type.

Sorry for the confusion.

However, when I Create a session based on a Content Type AND choose my Seblod Form ... the fields are still ONLY those in a normal Joomla Article. Is this always the case? thx!
