Hello,
I am working on a Joomla 4.3.4 with Seblod 4.1.1. No information from the Profile tab fields on the Users form is saved. I understand that this data should be saved in the cck_store_item_user table, but it simply does not save it and no error message appears. Furthermore, from the fontend it is also not possible to change a user's password using the Seblod site form. I tried to deactivate Seblod for user management by deactivating the Seblod User plugin but I couldn't, in any case in the frontend the Seblod form is displayed to edit a user's profile. Does anyone know what could be happening?

Thanks

Hi,

get rid of the tabs in the content view of the user form. At least that worked for me.

Yes, I can hide the user profile tab but in any case it is not possible for a user to change their password from the front end because the Seblod form does not save the changes.

I had the same problem and kicked out all the tabs and a lot of fields I didn't need from the Site Form and the Content view. After that I could save all the changes made in the front end including password changes. I just guessed it was a tab problem because they didn't work properly in the front end.

Hi

I was able to reproduce the problem by not having the 'Profile Menu Item' SEBLOD User Object integration option set :

So, you have to set this option with the menu item you configured to edit the user profile (menu item type User / Edit Profile) for SEBLOD to prepare its user form correctly to replace the Joomla one.

If you don't do this, the SEBLOD user form will have no action.

But once you did this, you should have a php error which is fixed by the Github Pull Request here : https://github.com/Octopoos/SEBLOD/pull/772

After thid, the user should be able to update any field on form saving.

Have a good day

Thank you very much for responding, Olivier. Indeed, if I configure the menu to edit the user profile in the Seblod settings, an error appears. When you say that that bug was already fixed in the Github Pull Request, does it mean when will it be available in the Seblod installation package?

Hi jimenaes,

What is the error you have? screenshot possible?

For now, the Pull Request has not been accepted yet and, if it is, a new Seblod installation package release is not in my hands :-)

Regards

Olivier
