Hello,

i posted two weeks ago and maybe i explained my problem not enough, so i got no answer on this topic.

I'm testing with Seblod and the calendar field at the moment. So i made a new content type with only a few fields like Holiday Trip, Location and Departure / Arrival. I'm trying to build a liitle holiday search.

With the calendar field when can set no the dates for the trips. After that i built a search type with a few search options, even with the opzions to search for arrival / departure.
But i get no effect, and I'm sure the date is correct, but seblod always puts out "There are no results".

Is there a bug in the calendar field or is something missing? What do i wrong?? All the other fields are working perfectly, only searching fpr a date is not possible at the moment.

Here you can find my example:

It would be very nice if anyone could help me with this special problem, maybe its just a small issue, but i dont know how to fix it :-)

Thx Kiki

Hi Whykiki,

In order to implement your feature, you should duplicate the calendar field in order to configure search with a date interval.

To duplicate the calendar field, you can create another calendar field with the following storage : "Standard" > "Free" > "name of the database table which your calendar field store its value" > "name of column.

In the search form, you should click on button 3 and apply the time appropriate "matching operator".

Thank you for your reply.

Is the duplicating of calendar field necessary to make the date search work properly or do you told me this way for searching a "time range"...?!

If i only want to use for one specific date (like now my example is), do i also have to duplicate the fields??

Hi Whykiki,

Yes, i said you for my previous post to add (not duplicate) another calendar field to have a search with time range.

Now, if you would like to set a search only on one day, you can solve your issue in two steps:
  1. change the settings of your calendar field: set the setting time to option "hide"
  2. edit all of your articles and set again the date of each of these articles

Now, i think you will have result when you select date.

Mehdi.
