Hey,

I've been working on adding some fields to my USER Registration form and when I load the form I get the - "ReCaptcha plugin needs a public key"

Here's the problem though.  I don't have a ReCaptcha field on my form.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Thanks,

-Dave

**** Update****
It ONLY seems to come up on the initial "Create Account" . If I refresh the page, the warning goes away.

Hi dniezby,

Thank you for your post.

In general, when you use recaptcha field in your form, you should add private and public key for your plugin.

To have these key, you should define theme here. After that, you should go to the plugin manager in the admin side of your joomla website. You search "CCK Field - Recaptcha". You can add keys in "basic options" tab.

Mehdi.

Ok, so nothing to be related to dniezby issue.

PS the link you posted doesn't run, :) I think you mean https://www.google.com/recaptcha

I still don't know what was causing the problem but it resolved.  And I don't know why. Lol.
