It really depends. If you create a new content type and select ARTICLE as parent and save the new content type it works.

Now if you create a first Content Type (let's name it ct1) in the admin form with only Article Title for the fields. click SAVE & NEW

then create ct2 with ct1 as parent. Save it .... you get the error.

Hello same pb it seems to be a bug 

So I don't know how to use this featured.

Looks this only happens when you have not created any fields in the parent and since tables for the parent ct were not created. Creation of single new field in the parent fixes it.

Please report on tracker.
