Hi Bes,
I need to search through Joomla core stuff (standard articles mainly) as well as throught articles with Seblod content type data added to it. I like the autocomplete form field feature in the Joomla 3.2. - I use a template framework which styles it nicely - I do not need to do any coding for that. - Anyways, would appreaciate very much any tip, on how you would solve a search in this context.

Finder is normally able to search in SB content types. Do you use it?

Hi Bes. Thanks! Interesting hint! - Isn't Finder (com_finder) integrated in the Joomla 3.2 standard search? - Actually, I use the Joomla default search module. - I will check out the Finder asap.
