Hi,
you would need to use one of the events in the code pack, e.g beforeStore and then change field value using code like this
http://roshanbh.com.np/2007/12/getting-real-ip-address-in-php.html
just make sure it is properly sanitized before it is sent to the storage, users can manipulate this values.
