I wish to be able to extend the Joomla standard article by some custom fields and then create a category list using these new fields. The new fields will be dates mainly and they should be sortable in the category list (but that is what category list allows by default). Is it possible using Seblod, please? So far I was able to create only new article types, but I do not really wish to migrate all our articles to a new type.

will have to export all articles and import them using seblod importer
i have not used importer but seblod only knows about contnt if in #__cck_core table, and th importer does this.
plus it places id from #__cck_core into introtext of article.
Got some experimenting to do ;)
