Hi,

I configured a simple newsletter inscription form, with a.o. an email field. In the email configuration, in the "To" field, I entered 2 adresses of mine. "To (fields)" remains empty.

I don't know why, but the email is sent systematically to my 2 adresses, and to the email entered by the user !

This is not the behaviour I expect : what I expect is that the user doesn't receive the email.

Do you have an idea why the email is sent to the email address entered by the user ?

Hi,

Check if it is setup like this :

text field - Name

text field - Email

Hidden field - Email field  [no storage]

It is configured this way :

text field : name

email field : email

(no hidden field)

Do you mean I should place a hidden email field to trigger the email ?

Yes rather set the email field as a hidden field or preferably in position HIDDEN

YES !

Thank you for your help, it works fine now ;-)

By the way, I have another question : I want to display a message on the screen to confirm the form has been sent. I customized the message in the "configuration" tab of my form. Is there a position in the template where it is supposed to appear ?

My template is minimal, with only modules and no place for the component, nor system/debug messages. So I could be missing something...

The messages will be displayed in the system/debug message area so I would advise adding that in your template.
