Hi.

Showing the permissions dialog in Seblod for "Forms & Content Types" of my created content type, calculates the "edit" permission for my created group as "not allowed (locked)".

This permission is set and calculated as allowed for the articles category, the parent group up the chain (editor) and the ACL.

This happens even for a Super User.

In the front-end, when logged in as a Super User and as a member of my created group (a child of "editor"), attempting to edit an article (with the article tools on top - edit icon), brings up a message: You don't have access to this page.

Any idea?

Thanks!

Hello Mor,

When you get "not allowed (locked)" this is caused because you tried to edit permissions to some core groups and the recommendation is to create new groups instead edit existing ones. This is Joomla issue and it is not related to Seblod.

Here are some discussion about it that may help you

Hope you find a solution for you issue there...

Thanks, Paulo.

The setting is Joomla seems to be set OK and not in agreement with what the Seblod permissions calculate.

See here, the global configuration in Joomla (via the "Options" button when viewing User Groups):

You can clearly see that the calculated permissions for "Edit" is "Allowed".

Now, here the view in Seblod, when clicking on the "permissions" link for the content type:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9236709/Seblod/Permissions/Seblod_Permissions_Edit_Conflict.PNG

Mind you that all settings up the chain were not changed (they are "Inherited"), still, the "Allow" setting for "Edit" is not calculated correctly and results in a conflict.

Thanks!

Where is the permissions settings accessible from? In version 2.x they could be found under the Configuration tab, down below.
In the latest 3.1.3 i cannot find this kind of option anywhere in the content type.
