Does anyone know of a way to display Seblod content in a module slot much like how you can display a list or the Site Form in a module slot?

Just an idea:

You could use a List module.

In the Item tab of your List&Search type you put all the fields that you want to show for the article.

In the Search tab you can add a field article_id.

In the List module in Live+Variation settings you can enter the ID of the article you want to show.

Hello gebeer and Saturn2888

Does that mean, that I have to recreate the article content view
completely in the List item view?

Is it not possible somehow to just use the article's content view?

I'm curious

Article content view is displayed inside joomla content view so you can use any content module, for some ideas see

http://joogpot.eu/knowledge/joomla/24-the-best-article-modules

Whart is improtant is that module is able to run content plugins, if it has this option it will likely work with Seblod.

I can't think of a way how to use the article content view. But maybe someone else has an idea?

NoNumber Articles Anywhere might be a solution

Geeber's solution is currently the only publicly available option for doing what you want. Klas has made a module that will do it using just the content view, but it's not really GA ready.

The idea is to use the "None" list template, such that the List uses - Select List Template -

I do not know if that is a bug or a feature, but it's quite usefull, since in that case Seblod uses the Intro layout of the content type.

So, just make a seblod list&search type on your content type, in the search put the art_id, set it to value, match exact, hide the search form, make a seblod list module and set the article id in Overrides and - voila.

Yes, webcastor

that's what I am doing right now, although the List & Search doesn't use the intro view,
but I have to define an "item" view additionally to the intro view of the article.

I also don't know if xhttp requests work with the intro / item view (buttons etc)

It's a workaround for a problem that shouldn't exist.

Thank you for suggesting the Articles Anywhere extension.
I am currently using and trying how far it will take me.

Have you tried to set the list template to empty, as well as leave the field list empty.

P.S. Article Anywhere is a dead-end. It used to work few months back, but I can't get it to work using the latest Seblod+NN AA.I have tried even to reorder the plugins, with no results.

It seems that I can't influence the title, if I disable the list template.

SEBLOD is using now the intro or content view, if intro not available,
but it always shows the title.

The option for showing or hiding the title seems to be queried in items.php of the "storage location" plugin, line 50
reading the parameter from the item seems to result in "show", although it's set to "hide" for the article.

It reacts only to the global article settings
