Hi
IS there a way to customize the content types modal pop up that shows when you click on the article manager NEW button ?
We whish we could hide some content types that are never created from the back office (such as site forms or groups).

i am hiding things like that with the access level. For example i do not allow my admins to create any contact form content. Also you can turn off GroupX content types to hide them :)

The groupx trick is very useful thanks!
However if I set the right of my CONTACT content type so that one can only create content in the frontend I won't be able to edit the submitted contents in the backend either.
We need to be able to view the submitted 'contact content' by the admins (if they loose the email or want to have stats). MAy be I didn't understand your solution ?

of course i mean permissions and not access level, sorry for confusing you :) Please go to the permission settings of your content type (the orange arrow). There you can deny your admins to create new content. But they will still able to edit existing ones.
