Hi there,

I want to use the Calendar picker in a site form. When I use it in the admin form, everything works fine. When I try to use it in the site form, I get a error:

Calendar.parseDate is not a function in jscal2.js:12:20270

So there is missing some kind of javascript library for this event.

Does anybody know, what to do?

Thank you

Wolfgang

if you use some sort of optimizer of compressor plugin for javascript, turn it off, also templates do all sort of so-called optimizations like removing necessary javasccript libraries, usually this are options in template settings.

I use the protostar Template in Joomla 3.9.6

There is no possibility to compress javascript files

Any other idea?

Heureka,

i found the solution. I use the "calender picker" and the "calendar in Joomla Library (JForm)" in the same document. The scripts of the two calendar extensions collide and that s the reason, why the picker does throw the error.

Thanks to all   :-)
