I am still learning:-) I know how to upload a image from the local computer, but how to upload a existing image from the website?

Hi Klaus,
you find this field under Article->Images&Links. It is the standard Joomla field that lets you choose an image from within the image folder.

I want to do a basic image gallery:
the admin form = ok, I use the article image fulltext to choose a file from the mediafolder
but which field to display the choosen image in the intropage? I get only the path of the image I choose?
I am very sure, this seblod is quite good for users of the website, but I still have some problems to finde the correct fieldtypes
:-(
can anybody help me with this small image gallery?

Hello Klaus,
when you are in "Intro" Tab in your content type, then on the right hand side click number 3 "Typographie + Typography on Label"
Then next to the article image fulltext field there is a selectbox "None". Here choose "Image".
On the little "+" you can choose what to display: Image, Thumbnail1 ...
Try that to display the image and not the file path only.
Let me know if it doesn't work.
