Hello,

I have an understanding problem of module list & search which I want to use as a module besides an article-view.

I created a content view, a list & search type and a module.

I use the SD Live CCK field for triggering one field of the current article / content view with success. But I cannot add a second field of my content view to the module. Not with SD Live CCK.

Please advice me some direction where I have to search for getting a second value from the same table which SD Live already outputs.

Thanks in advance with best regards,
Pierre.

Hi there.

Why can't you do this? Do you get an error or something?

Hello James,

thanks for your fast reply.

I tried to catch the cck_id, which did not work - then I tried to trigger an own field, which worked.

I did read through the sql-query, tried a lot of stuff. And got it at the end...

First insight: Just put one field as trigger at the search-type.

Further I could not believe that the cck_id does not want to work...

Second insight: cck_id must be at the content-type itself, too. I did put it at hidden position, yet.

And directly after the result, insigt 3: match criteria has to be exact, because the default query does 'LIKE' instead of '=' and puts out an array when you have some cck-content ids matching like 10, 101, 210, 55510999 for the querysearch LIKE '10'.

If I am not correct at any point, please correct me, because some people could search this at the forum, too :-)

I would have wish for a better documentation for this great possibillity of creating an automated module on content-views -  I only got it to work by hours of trial and error...

Best regards, Pierre.
