Your explanation was a little sketchy, but it seams that you are using a custom Upload Image field, and not the art_image_intro field.

Anyway, I found some issues with saving images in cases when there still does not exist the destination "root" folder for images, as for example /images/news/ in your case. However, if the folder already exist, and is (for consistency reasons) filled with the final / (i.e. /images/news/), I found it works fine. I would also like to mention that Advanced Mode is set to Yes (JSON-Formatted value) and storage is set to JSON | Article | image.

Probably, I changed its configuration. And now is not working properly, it is possible that you, or anyone, can put here for a print with the original settings of the field?

I noticed a problem with my "solution".

Better explaining the situation, I on my site, I have the module GK5 news and the CB. At CB, I show, with no problem, items with intro_image (manual code), but the GK5, no picture.

Any idea how to solve?

I must point out that you swapped the two words in the field storage name attribute, it's image_intro, not intro_image

My guess is that CB shows it because it renders joomla content (and that goes through seblod), but GK5 reads directly the value from database and does not find JSON field image_intro in column images.

Hi Torsten,

I just change de name of the field, and addind the field to my forms, it worked.

In same cases, that is not the best solution, like in my products form, the user have to insert some images, and one more imageto the intro (normaly the first one), but it works for now.
