Hi!

I'm creating a complex user profile with seblod. First SEBLOD stored the fields in cck_store_forum_user and now it's storing it in cck_core_fields. Why is this & where is the right/best place in database for user-profile-fields and where can I configure this? Are both ok?

Thanks, Michael

Hello mandrael,

SEBLOD don't store additionnal fields in cck_core_fields. This table is only for SEBLOD fonctionnement, and you don't have to manage it.

When you create a User Profil, 2 solutions (like article):

  • Padlock closed: fields will be stored in the table "#__cck_store_form_users" (only available in user content type)
  • Padlock Open: fields will be stored in the table "#__cck_store_item_users" (avalaible for other user content type if you create other )

Regards.

Dear Lionel! Thank you very much for your answer!

I found the error: I forgot to set the Appfolder obove the formular, right next to the title!
Besides, James Morrell made a decent description of this topic: http://jamesmorrell.com/blog/9-seblod-storage

Is there any official book or documentation in progress? I hope David Jardin does an explicit book for the German language :-)
