Hi. In a search form I have fields for doing searches which includes a text field, single selection drop down field, multi selection fields, and a submit button with a reset link. When I press the reset link, it clears the all fields except the multi selection fields. Any suggestions on how to clear these fields? My site is in a company intranet where users outside the company cannot access it.

I can't replicate this with seblod 3.8.2 and Select-Multiple field + protostar template. Which version do you use?

I am using seblod 3.7.2 and the one- seb_one template. I don't see the protostar template in the template list.

Do I need the reset plugin? I don't have that loaded. Is there a way in the site admin to find out what Seblod plugins I have installed? The button I am using is a Submit button with a Reset link. I will install the latest Seblod version and let you know. Will I need to install the latest plugins too? I know I installed the php string plugin.

Hi Tina

It sounds like you are still feeling your way around joomla.

In Joomla menu => Extensions you will see modules, plugins and templates as available options. You will find all things installed within this area.

Protostar is the default template that comes with Joomla, if you have errors it is good to assign this template for the page you are on (or better still, all pages) and test.

The templates listed within Seblod area are exclusivley for the content area of your page. Not the surrounding module positions. Use seblods modules to render this content outside of the content area

Apologies if you know this already...

In my original request, about the reset link not working, I was testing in Firefox and it did not work fully. I tested in IE and it worked. I also noticed in IE, the hover for the multiple selection field works (light grey color) but in FF, the hover does not work.

I upgraded to the latest version of seblod, version 3.8.3, and the reset link works correctly for resetting all fields (text, multiple selection, single selection drop down) in Firefox now and it still works in IE. Thank you. The hover works in IE but still does not work in Firefox. Any suggestions?

Oh, and about the Prostar template, I use Rockettheme templates and did not notice there was a Prostar template that comes with Joomla.

If the cursor hovers on unselected items in the multiple selection field, in IE 11, it turns to a grey background.  In FF 38 or 45, the background color stays the same which is a white background.
