I am creating an events directory. I will be creating a 'event start date' filed and a 'event end date field' (nothing to do with the standard Joomla date fields).
I need to be able to create a menu item in my main menu called 'Events' and this menu will be a 'category blog layout'. I need to be able to 'filter' the category blog layout 'by the Event Start Date field.
Additionally, this category blog layout filter needs to only show 'upcoming events', as in the default Events layout, people will only want to see 'upcoming events, not events that have already taken place.
Can you assist with how to achieve this?
