Hello

I would like to create a form with a field to "check", confirming that the user has read the terms and conditions and agree with them before submitting the form. I wish the field could also include the link to the terms and conditions page and only "checking" this field must allow the form submission.

Is this possible with Joomla+Seblod forms? If yes, how do I go about it?

Thanks.

Hi BiGMNM,

Welcome to the SEBLOD forums.  It would be good to take a moment to review the documentation in the Manuals section. It would also be helpful for you to be familiar with the SEBLOD storage methodology in this tutorial and videos.

In your form, you can add a link to the terms article and also a checkbox (accept terms & conditions) with a required validation in order to continue.

Hope that helps,

Randy

Hello Randy

Thank you for your reply.

I have been searching for a while for the content in Manuals Section that can show me how to create a link to Terms article in my form - I can't find it. I tried Google too :'( I just need to find where I can read instructions about doing this in simple steps. I wish someone who has done it before can explain..

Hello Randy

I created a field, selected "Free Text" as the type, which allowed me to enter text with a link to display at the Form Front on the website page.

Below it I added a "Checkbox" for a user to check, confirming that they have read the terms and conditions. This serves me well.

I haven't found a way to mark my post as solved, I will keep looking..

Thanks.

Hi BiGMNM,

To mark your post solved, there is check at the beginning of the post.  I may have already checked it, but just so you know in the future.

thanks!

Randy
