I need to make my website accessible. I tried to add aria-label="click to submit search request" to the submit button custom attribute field but when I save and go back to look at custom attribute field, aria-label is deleted. Where should I put this information? I would also like to use aria-describedby, aria-labelledby, and other aria attributes explained in accessibility standards.

With seblod 3.8.3 it works fine for me if I add aria-label  to Custom Attributes field. Probably something on your system - check your php.ini settings for recommended values and other potential points like database row limitation, mod_security blocking your request when you save etc .

Thank you. I was able to add aria-label to Custom Attributes field. Sometimes the field setting are not saved such as custom attributes. It could be my browser or user error or the things you said in your response. I noticed if I go to the Fields, and then edit the field, it saves while if I edit the field in the List & Search Type Form it does not save. It should not matter from where I edit the field but sometimes one works better than the other.

It could be you are hitting some limit eg. max input vars when you are in S&L type where a lot of fields are present at the same time.
