Hi,

When I create the 3 test fields for Joomla User Profiles, I drag them over from the right and place them under User Id
I save and close it, the fields are still on the right, not under User Id, I tried assigning them also.
So the new fields are not in the new user form when I create a new user.

Hi Sounds,

You are a bit short on giving information. So, I'll start by asking:

1. Have you followed the instructions in these tutorials?

2. Can you give us some more information about your configuration?

3. Which version of SEBLOD en Joomla are you using?

Regards,

Eric

Hi,

I'm using the latest versions of both Joomla and Seblod.

Actually I'm noticing a few issues as i go through the videos and play around with Seblod.

I went through the Getting Started videos, and started watching the Going Further section.
Went as far as Assigning fields to the content view of a joomla article.

I skipped the next video then watched the next one.. then I played with it for a while and added a menu item - Seblod Form
I selected categories for Type and then viewed it on the front end, clicked the new view categories link, got the two demo categories on that page
So while i was doing that, I added a new article and put that into my new Seblod category, so when I click on the menu like to view categories list.
I can see the two demo categories I created on the page, the problem is when I click on any of those categories I get
Template Style does not exist. Open the Content Type & save it again. (Intro + Content views)

The other issue is to do with is to do with adding 3 custom fields to a user profile.

The error message might have to do something with your host.

Open it again and save it (and take your time for that, so that you are absolutely sure it is saved before doing anything else).

Do you mean go into components > seblod > forms and content types?
If I go into form content type manager, each content type i created for article/category/user
I can see under the template tab that seb_one is selected, no other options in the drop down.
It didn't change anything when i saved them again.

I created a menu link to the front end submission form also, but when you click that link it takes you to a user profile edit page.
I don't know if i have the patents for this, hope I can work through these bugs.

One thing to note, that seblod UI is depend on javascript... so make sure your page is fully loaded before save anything.

You might also take a look at this:

I'm having the exact same problem.  I'm using the latest version of Joomla and Seblod - in fact I just installed Seblod on the development domain for one of my clients.  It will not let me make any changes to the user forms - Admin or Site.

Update:  It appears I cannot have directory privacy (protect with .htaccess) in order to add fields, change the order of fields, and many other actions.  This is not good as a development site should not have to be available on the internet in order for us to do work.
